Review: Thief's Magic

Thief's Magic
Thief's Magic by Trudi Canavan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Thank you to Little, Brown Book Group UK for the chance to review an ARC of this book.

I don't want to give away any of the story before you have the pleasure of reading it for yourself, so I won't give any spoilers.

Trudi Canavan has spun a rich tale of magic and fantasy that tells a tale of two different worlds and characters. I found the story slow to start with but before long I was swept up in the story of the two main characters and found myself completely immersed in each of their lives and worlds. Even though the story went back and forth between the two, there was plenty of time in each section to get to know the character and their story before it switched back again.

The ending came all too quick for me on this one as I know there is going to be a long wait on the second book and I can't wait to find out what happens next. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of fantasy, the only negative comment I could make about this book is having to wait for the next installment in the series especially considering the cliffhangers at the end of this one.

This one is well deserving of 5 stars.
