Review Policy

I love to read and review however I may have many books on my review list and it could be quite a period of time before I can get to or accept new requests. Accepting a book for review does not necessarily mean that a review will be posted. I have a busy life and family commitments that can take up much of my time and are my first priority.  Reading is a hobby and something I love doing, I post reviews because I love to share good books and I do it at no charge. So please keep that in mind and I ask that you respect that fact when submitting your book.

I will however try my best to get to all books I have for review. There will be times when I will have to be selective due to time limits and commitments and should that be the case, I will read and review the books that I feel I will get the most enjoyment out of. Reading is first and foremost for enjoyment and I would like for it to remain that way.

All my reviews are honest and my own opinion, I try to keep them spoiler free, there is nothing worse than reading a review and it spoiling the book. I at all times try to be polite and respectful when expressing my opinion, no disrespect is ever intended and my reviews and opinion will always be based on the book itself and not the author. I expect the same respect in return.

My preferred genres are Dark Fiction, Fantasy, Ghost Stories, Horror, Paranormal, Young Adult, Suspense and Thriller. I also read a little Sci Fi but I am particularly picky with that genre so I don't read many. I don't read Romance, Erotica, Non Fiction or Historical Fiction so please consider this before sending me a review request. Oh and also NO zombies, please!

I prefer mobi format as I read on a kindle paperwhite. PDFs are not really suitable for viewing on the paperwhite as the font is usually tiny and can't be enlarged. Should you wish to send me a request to review your book, I can be contacted on ScarletAingealReviews(at)gmail(dot)com.

I look forward to reading your book!

Scarlet.

Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
Richer than I you can never be -
I had a mother who read to me.
